City of Brussels

Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB), a multidisciplinary university, dates from 1834. It is the French-speaking university of Brussels. As a multicultural university with one third of students from abroad and equally cosmopolitan staff, international relations is a daily reality for the ULB, just like the city of Brussels itself, one of the world's most cosmopolitan cities.
Conference venue:

The conference will be held at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management of the ULB, located just a few minutes’ walk from the commercial hub of Ixelles, where you will have ample opportunities for eating and shopping.

Brussels, widely known as a city for conferences and cultural events, is well provided with a good choice of hotels for all budgets.

Fine art of living:

With its fine food and eclectic choice of restaurants, Brussels has long been a favourite destination for food lovers. Congress delegates can also enjoy this high quality in their on-site catering, as well as the many local specialities in the city or one of the hundreds of beers brewed in the area. And of course, there are those famous chocolates that we all love to take back home. The inviting shops and charming historical city centre add to this experience, giving visitors a memorable taste of Brussels life.
